Swell.Network and Eigenlayer are prominent Ethereum blockchain platforms, specializing in liquid staking and re-staking, respectively. With solid funding backing them, these platforms present a timely opportunity, especially now that Eigenlayer has reopened for re-staking. Since neither platform has yet been tokenized, engaging with both could enhance your Ethereum yield. This involvement might also improve your prospects of receiving future SWELL and EIGEN airdrops when they eventually announce their tokens.

How to be eligible for $SWELL token airdrop?

To be eligible for the $SWELL airdrop, please follow these professional guidelines:

  • Network Confirmation: Ensure that you are connected to the Ethereum (ETH) network. This can typically be verified through your wallet interface, such as MetaMask.
  • Wallet Funding: Confirm that your wallet is funded with sufficient Ethereum to participate in the staking process.
  • Accessing the SWELL Staking Platform: Navigate to the SWELL staking page. The direct link for this purpose is the SWELL Network Staking Platform.
  • Staking Procedure: For every Ethereum you stake, you will be credited with 30 Pearls. This involves depositing ETH into SWELL.NETWORK, where it will be converted to swETH.
  • Pearl Accumulation: By staking, you begin to accumulate Pearls daily. The quantity of Pearls you hold will determine your potential eligibility for receiving the $SWELL token airdrop in the future.
  • Gas Fee Requirement: Please be advised that a gas fee, approximately equivalent to 25 USD in ETH, will be required to complete the deposit transaction.

By sticking to these steps, you can effectively participate in the SWELL staking process and potentially qualify for the $SWELL airdrop.

How to be eligible for an Eigenlayer airdrop?

When you deposit your ETH on any liquid staking platform, you will get their native liquid token.

In this case, since we are using Swell.Network, it will give us swETH. You can then re-stake the swETH into the Eigenlayer Protocol to generate more yield.

Note: You will need around 35 USD worth of ETH in Gas fees to deposit.

When you wish to unstake, you will need a similar amount of ETH in gas fees.

What are the other pools that you can use to re-stake ETH on Eigenlayer:

  • Rocket Pool Ether (rETH),
  • Lido Staked Ether (stETH),
  • Coinbase Staked Ether (cbETH),
  • StakeWise Staked Ether (asETH),
  • Origin Staked Ether (oETH),
  • Wrapped Beacon Ether (wBETH),
  • Ankr Staked Ether (ankrETH),
  • Stader Staked Ether (ETHx)

Out of all the pools, swETH has emerged as the second largest pool on Eigenlayer.

Conclusion

It can be said that there is a very high chance of both these platforms airdropping tokens to the protocol users.

And it is needless to say, the more ETH you stake, the more points you will earn, or more airdrops in the future. I am expecting both these protocols – SWELL.NETWORK and EIGENLAYER to airdrop tokens in 2024.
