Polyhedra network testnet

What is Polyhedra Network?

Polyhedra Network is built as an Infrastructure for Web3 Interoperability. It is a project that supports both scalability powers and the privileges of privacy in the web3 space and is working on the foundation of zero-knowledge proof systems. This new project has received backing from Binance Labs and raised around 10 million dollars in their funding round from many firms, which has given Polyhedra a lot of credibility. Their zkBridge testament recently went live and joined the suite of their other products like ZK DID, ZK NFT, and the Launchpad. Their technology is both trust-minimized and highly efficient which makes it a great option for web3 functions like transferring of multiple assets, communication of messages, and the sharing of data. Apart from Binance Labs, they have also received partnerships and support from renowned names in the crypto circuit, to name a few:

  • Polychain Capital
  • DHVC
  • Kucoin Ventures
  • Foresight
  • Unstoppable Domains
  • Gameta
  • Dappos
  • Animoca Brands
  • ABCDE
  • Sparkle ventures

  • Metis

Step 1: Creating an NFT

Polyhedra has a launchpad option on which you need to create an NFT. To do so follow these instructions carefully

  1. Visit the official website of Polyhedra through this link
  2. Click on the “Connect wallet” option and link your Meta Mask wallet with Polyhedra. Make sure that the network selected is the Binance Chain Testnet
  3. Go to the “Launchpad” section.

  5. Next enter the name and description of your NFT
  6. In the network option select BNB Chain Testnet from the drop down options.
  7. Finally click on “create”, and confirm the transaction on the Meta Mask pop up. Once the transaction is approved your NFT will be created

Step 2: Importing NFTs

The next method is to use the zkBridge in order to transfer some assets from one blockchain to the other. Remember that you can perform this function only after you have created an NFT. The step by step guide using which you can achieve this task is as follows:

  1. Visit the official website of Polyhedra through this link
  2. Make sure your meta mask wallet is connected and the network is set to Binance Chain Testent just like in the last step. Click on the “zkBridge” option.
  3. Now go to “Transfer” and under the “Sender Blockchain” section select BNB Chain Testnet
  4. Next, select “My NFTs” and choose the NFT you wish to import
  5. Then click on “Start Import” after which go on “Next” and now you will be asked to select a receiver blockchain
  6. From the drop down options select Ethereum Goerli Testnet and click on “Next
  7. Now choose “Step 1: Approve” and confirm the transaction on your Meta Maks pop up
  8. Once that is done you have to click on “Step 2: Transfer”. You will have to again approve the pop up from Meta Mask
  9. As the transfer is initiated, it is going to take 3 confirmations after which the transaction will be completed
  10. Finally, once the transaction is complete you just need to select “Claim” and then click on “Switch Network” which is shown in your Meta Mask prompt.
  11. After this just confirm the prompt and your NFT would have been imported.

Step 3: Giving feedback on Discord

The third and final step that you have to perform is imparting some feedback on the Polyhedra discord server. This can be achieved in a few simple steps that are as follows

  1. Visit the official website of Polyhedra through this link
  2. Select the “zkBridge” option and go to the “History” section
  3. Now you can see the details of the transaction of the NFT that had been transferred. Take a screenshot of the page that is showing all these details.
  4. Over there copy the following details: the wallet address from which the transfer was made, the source transaction ID and the claim transaction ID.
  5. Now head over to the Polyhedra discord server using this link and go to the server channel called “suggestions and support”
  6. Now in the chatbox, just paste the wallet address from which the transfer was made, the source transaction ID and the claim transaction ID that you had copied and send the message along with the screenshot of the page that you had taken.
