Well, in this article, I will not be explaining detailed analysis of Goal3 tokenomics, but what’s interesting to note here is that the blockchain platform has reserved 9% of their tokens to be distributed as airdrop. And 11% is reserved for those who would be participating in the lockdrop.
So you become eligible for a portion of 100Million tokens (out of 500Million tokens).
How to participate in $Goal3 Airdrop?
Participating in $Goal3 airdrop is easy (but time sensitive). The sooner you participate, more rewarding it is. Let us have a look at the steps.
Step1: Bridging to ZKSync Mainnet Era
Bridge USDC or ETH from any chain to ZkSync Mainnet Era. You can do so through some of the below mentioned bridges:
a. ZkSync Official Bridge: Move ETH from ETH chain to ZKSync.
b. Orbiter.finance: Move USDC from any chain to ZkSync. To save gas fee, you can move from Polygon to ZkSync Mainnet.
c. Layerswap
Step 2: Have ETH, and USDC:
If you do not have USDC on ZkSync Mainnet era, you can use the official website to swap some of the ETH to USDC.
Once you have USDC, head over to the next step.
Step 3: Lock USDC and get $Goal3
Go to the official Goal3 website and lock your USDC.
Minimum locking amount is 10USDC. You will see 3 options:
a. Lock for 12 months – The Degen
b. Lock for 6 months – The Sharp Bettor
c. Lock for 3 months. – The Newbie
Based on your risk appetite, you can lock for a duration you are comfortable with. If you go with highest period, your rewards will be maximum. I have chosen 12 months period, and locked 15USDC, and I have also locked 10USDC for 6 months period.
Please note the BOOST% will keep reducing with time.
Once locked, you can then share your address and invite more users to the platform to earn more rewards.
Remember, the amount that you will be locking will be available to you in the form of $ZkUSD (equivalent to USD) once the lock in period is over.
But do remember, since you are locking your funds in the smart contract, there are chances of smart contract hack, and you may lose access to your funds. DYOR and lock a small amount only.
How much should you stake in Goal3?
It depends. If you can afford locking more than 100USDC, do it, but for those who can’t I think you can go with the least 10USDC.
I am personally looking to stake 100USDC once the audit is completed. I have so far staked 25USDC.
Could Goal3 be a Rug?
It is too early to predict whether Goal3 is a scam or a real project. Please do your own diligence. There is not much information on Goal3 who the investors in the project. The team is also not known, which is why I have restricted myself to a very small amount only. Please invest only a small amount (if at all you are investing).
How to increase your Goal3 Airdrop chances?
